Thanks to the Cherry Creek Foundation, the fourth grade recently received a grant that allowed us to begin using Wordly Wise Online.
Students can now use their username and password to complete Wordly Wise lessons online. They will receive instant feedback and have the option to have words and phrases read to them.
Beginning next week, 12/9, Wordly Wise will become a requirement on the weekly homework menu. Students can choose to complete lessons online or in their Wordly Wise booklet.

Wordly Wise 3000
This week we will continue our work with Wordly Wise. Since it has been a few weeks since the class has seen the Vocabulary program, we will complete much of the work in class, modeling proficient work and setting the expectation that students will finish any incomplete work at home. Below if the website where the words and definitions may be accessed. We will begin with lesson 2, Level 4. The level 5 words are still accessible

Spelling City
Students can enter words from their word cards into the site and play a variety of free games. I strongly recommend the activities involving writing.
